Saturn from SE QLD

Folks,

After all the rain, we've had a string of clear nights this week. Tuesday 5/5 in particular had some pretty decent seeing, Skippy Sky had been forecasting 7 to borderline 8 from the special location I where was fortunate to be (many thanks to my hosts!)

For an incremental increase in the forecasted seeing, the increase in detail was actually quite apparent even during capturing and now I've got around to chewing through the data, I'm pretty convinced it is showing more gap detail and a clearer hexagon than my effort last week with the C11

Equipment... C8 Edge HD with 2.5x Powermate on my EQ6, with photons detected by a QHY5L-ii OSC.

Cheers,
Dunk

It has a very realistic looking colour, like it is in the eyepiece.

Thanks Trevor!

I'd like to have a go somewhere with excellent seeing as I don't expect I'm going to get that around Sydney anytime.
