LOL the first image is jupiter through the 50-500 on the pentax - Dennis note all the images are with the pentax - not a canon in sight mate

Nicely captured Huffy, thanks for the heads up, I raced outside to catch the orbit visible here at 7:54 saw both overhead from the horizon almost to the zenith.

Well if Mike was online constantly with heavens above, he would have known, or running a copy of LX200 satellite tracker he would have known to the second and be able to track it from its appearance to the end. But I am not Mike (thank goodness or I would own a dob
). In truth I got home and was showing my daughter that fantastic shot of the sun and the silhouettes of the ISS and Shuttle, in sharp detail too I might add then went to heavens above to show my daughter where they were at that point in time (6.06pm) then realised a brilliant pass was about to occur, setup the camera and tripod in under 2 minutes and waited……………..
