Hard core Jupiter, Sep 16th, 2006

Getting hard now, altitude tonight at capture time was only 44 degrees!

Seeing is still very impressive however in that in-between period after sunset and before it's totally dark.

Also the fact that the temperature seems to decrease in the speed at which it declines means my main mirror gets to within 1 degree of ambient with a huge fan blasting the surface of the mirror for 1.5 hrs prior to imaging to cool it.

Standard setup used with my 12.5" and 5 x Powermate, best 135 RGB frames stacked and processed.

Awesome again, John. Even better than the other day. Lots of activity well captured.

Perhaps a slight RGB misalignment?
