Clouds!!!

Sorry about the clouds in the Canberra region, I bought a barlow lens today.
The clouds are cheating though, I won't receive it from Bintel until tomorrow but they have done a pre-emptive strike and rolled in 24 hours early, I had a look about an hour ago and there was not a single star to be seen. Lucky I only half setup before dinner, there wasn't that much to pack up.

cheers

Congrats on the gear...shame that the clouds sometimes don't differentiate between a large and small purchase.

I can uderstand a sky full of clouds if you had gotten something big...but a barlow, come on it isn't that big...or was it a Powermate (and worthy of some serious cloud cover)?

Cheers!

Just the Meade apochromatic 2x, it's a great addition, it's a bit like doubling your eyepiece collection.
A few more eyepieces wouldn't go astray either, I still saving for a UW Meade.

Cheers
