Monochromatic light/Polarizing filter test shows no sign of strain, indicating that the blank is well annealed. Ideal budget large blank.

See an example of how well this glass works. View Rac (Raymond's) posts, on ATM forum. His 18" f3.3 mirror being worked at the moment. Plate glass is very easy to work and can be made into an excellent optic.
