Well, well would you look at that ... At risk of sounding like a complete tosser - it seems I scored my first aapodx2... thanks for all your help with this one folks!
Awesome image Andy. Out of interest, is it possible for you to upload your Ha, Oiii, Sii images that you used to produce this? We always see Ha images of this area but no one seems to upload Oiii and Sii and ive always wondered what it looks like / how bright it is in these channels!
Cheers and thanks for your kind comments Fred, Paul F, Steve, Paul H & Krishan - Krishan I'll post those stacks up on the weekend for you
I'm not sure what real importance or credibility these APOD offshoots have, but I guess it's nice to know that one's images are improving to some kind of recognized standard. (whatever that is!)

Krishan - here are the stacked Ha, O3 & S2 images you asked for - hope that helps!
Thanks for sharing the channels Andy - I'm still in the DSLR one shot colour world - mono won't be happening for at least a few years yet - but it is really nice to see from what stuff the colour images are made!
