Regarding the non-goto G11, I see their webpage claim a 0.5 arcsec/step resolution. Is it per micro step or per full step?
I'm considering adding DIY GOTO to the mount and I want to maintain the original resolution. I find if I target 0.5 arcsec/full step resolution, with NEMA17 motors the max slew rate I can get is only ~50x, which is too slow.
If it's 0.5 arcsec/micro step, then I can push it to 300x easily.
I heard micro steps are not so accurate as full steps.
Anybody who ever desembled the stepper motor?
