This is a combination of images taken last year using ISO 6400 and 800.
I stacked them separately in DSS processed them in Ps2 then stacked them together again in DSS and then a final tweak PS.
I love the richness of colour in this image which is quite different to my original. http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/a...e.php?a=170297

Hi, Justin, I enjoy seeing wide-field "context" shots of how old favourites fit into their surroundings. Yours is superb. Great colour and subtle detail. Thanks for sharing. Best, Mike.
Excellent Justin! Composition and colour is perfect.
Cheers
Steve
Thanks Steve!
I think it's the best colour I've done so far.

I usually crop most of my images but this one looks best full frame.

Nice, perhaps somewhat alternative, colour scheme which may well be close to the true colour this nebula should be.. either way Justin it looks good regardless
It's a very nice image with great colour Justin. I know it as that name too. I was first introduced to it many years ago when people used that name a lot.
Great image Justin. You certainly get some good images with your unmodded 1100!
Tony.
Thanks Tony!
I work the 1100D hard.

Alternative is good, hard to make an image stand out without going overboard.
