PI Question - command copying

Trying to speed up my workflow in PI and i have seen a video of someone using some shortcuts to perform what i am after, however i have not been able to find what shortcut it is.

What i am looking to do is copy the last run command on an image and apply it to another.
For instance after i crop an image, i want to crop lets say the R, G and B images as well.
I can save a process icon and apply it that way, but i was wondering if there was a simple shortcut key i can use to save even more time.
The video i saw allowed this to work on anything, including zooming, so if your doing a side by side comparison, copying the zoom will take you to the same point and zoom level on each image you apply it to.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

I think I know the PI GUI pretty well and I've never seen anything like that.

For any process you can make a process icon as you suggested. You can also drag a process icon from the history of an image. For commands in the process console you can use the up-arrow to recall previous commands (the command line is very powerful if you're not a GUI person.)

The specific case you mention of "zooming" is achieved by clicking and dragging the name of an image and dropping it over the name of another image. If the two images have the same geometry this will result in the second image panning and zooming to display the same region at the same zoom level. This also works for previews.

I don't find the speed of the PI GUI to be a problem. It's usually the wetware that's slow

Cheers,
Rick.

Use the 'new instance' triangle on the bottom of the tool window.

Nathan,

There's also a list of useful keyboard shortcuts here: http://pixinsight.com.ar/en/info/art...shortcuts.html

Cheers,
Rick.
