The mind boggles

Seriously I thought I had seen most things, but this takes the cake. I have no real probs with tatoos perse, but this guy is an absolute nut case.

These people are going to get old. I'm wondering if they will still love it then, and how having to carry them effects their lives.
So glad I never did it. But when I was young the only people who had them were sailors and those 'bad boys'.

Get over it boys and girls, it's just a fashion statement, at least that's what my wife tells me.

As someone with a lot of tatts I have two rules, no names and nothing on the hands or face.

Just plain stupid in my books.

Whatever floats his boat. So long as he doesn't hurt anyone but himself, who cares?

I do have ONE pet peeve about tatoos - when you see a lovely lass and she's decided it would look kewl to have tats on her thighs or calves. YAK YAK YAK!!! Just an aesthetic I do not appreciate on women at all.

I don't think you can say "whatever floats their boat" and then say that specifically for women, they shouldn't get tattoos on their legs because that makes them less of a "lovely lass" in your eyes.

The correct quote was "whatever floats his boat" Personally , I see no value in tattoos. I too find them unappealing on women, but I am old and grumpy so no apologies from me.

My son has just had a full sleeve tattoo finished. His own design. It took a just over a year to complete, and it actually looks pretty good I suppose. Hate to think what it cost. But he said that's it now. When he had it started I said nothing on your neck, head, legs, or below the long sleeves area. Which he agrees with.

On the other hand, my daughter has a few small ones, including one not so discreet one with three small birds on her forearm. She applied to join the police force, and they said she would have to get it removed because you couldn't have any visible tattoos (policy changed now as I understand it). She spent $4000 getting it removed.

I don't have anything against tattoos, or people with them, but some of those do look hideous. Those people in the photos may in fact be really nice people. You don't need to have tattoos to be an a-hole.

That ninja turtle one cracked me up.

I guess my objection to someone saying that a woman is unattractive because of tattoos are twofold, firstly if I went around forums saying that fat women were ugly I would (hopefully) be widely condemned. Secondly it portrays the wrong view that a woman should give a **** what you think, because otherwise why would you say it.

Obviously from the tone of my posts, I have numerous tattoos.
