HEQ5 question

does anyone know if the HEQ5 go-to hand controller works on the orion sirius mount?- they're the same mounts right?

If you want to be 100% certian you could call Orion, but AFAIK they are all made in the same factory.

thats the thing about orion- they WONT SAY unless its 'their' product

Doesn't surprise me regarding Orion - they like to play within thier rules. How about purchasing the HEQ5 controller from a dealer on the understanding that you could return it if it didn't work with the Sirius?

yea, if i get the mount that may the best option- i could always get 'orions'- but they always seem to charge alittle more for their clone version
