Orion Starshoot Deep Space Imager II and win7 64 bit

Hi all,
I have been loaded a SSDSI II colour ccd to play with and have the original installation cd as well. The Maxim lite software installed perfectly on my notebook pc however when connecting the camera with the cd in the drive, it cannot find the appropriate driver. Even when I manually direct the driver installation to the cd the installation fails to complete. Anyone had to deal with this situation? I have messaged telescope.com (Orion) but I am not holding my breath for their timely reply.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
Bruce.

Thanks to both Ben and Simon, however I am reluctant to follow the instructions for the Mono Version 3 camera, when mine is the color version 2. Simon, my camera is not detected by the computer at all. instead of making a normal sound when a USB device is connected, it makes a gruff bad kind of sound. Not sure what using an older version of PHD could do as I have both PHD and PHD2 on the laptop and both have worked fine with my Canon cameras. Today I heard back from Orion and they simply state that camera driver was only updated to Vista 32 bit and will not be compatible with any 64 bit OS. Looks like I have a "pup".
Thanks anyway guys,
Bruce.
