For sale is a full-spectrum modified Canon 450D with Astronomik L clip-in filter. Both stock Canon UV-IR and anti-alias filters were removed during the modification for maximum image sharpness and sensitivity.
I also used this camera to experiment with regulated cooling via an internal cold finger and peltier module.
This IIS thread describes how the cooling mod is fitted to the camera. This cooling mod has since been removed, but will be included in the sale for the purchaser to install if they wish. A dew heater for the front of the CMOS sensor is also included. Dark noise is reduced considerably by active cooling and I was able to achieve some great images with this setup (

The camera was used last weekend (in its current uncooled configuration) during new moon with good results as seen from
this IIS thread here.
