High res trap

Here's one from end of March which I processed this long week-end. Little flexure. Hopefully picking up OAG adaptor this week and that should resolve oblong stars. This is a Baader Ha 7nm with my QHY9 and the FSQx3 with the FFC. They were 120s exposures. About 20 of them.

I have a bigger field here

Thanks for looking.

Good one Marc. OAGs are the way to go.

In the meantime there is always Star Tools which has a star rounder routine or a darken blend layer with the offset tool to correct slightly eggy stars.

Greg.

Thanks guys. Finally got all my stuff sorted out. That should take care of all those pesky trailing stars. And I can barlow possibly to x8 if I wanted to, with AO as well. Picking adapter this week. Big thanks to Dave at sharpskypro for keeping on the ball and supplying me with hardware.

Great looking closeup photo Marc.

You have resolved a lot of detail.

You're planning to barlow it 8x...and here was I worried that you couldn't get a reducer!

A very sharp telescope.

Good luck.

Ross.
