RJ9 F&F coupling required

I need to extend the handpiece cable on my Meade scope. The cable has RJ9 plugs on both ends. I have a 2nd cable to extend it with but both cables have male ends.

Does anyone know where I can get a female to female coupling? I've tried ebay. I did track one down from an American company but for a small $3 part they wanted $54 postage

If I can't find a coupling I'll have to cut the plugs and solder the wires. That's no real problem but I didn't want to make it permanent.

Try Jaycar

RJ45 Inline Joiner - Straight Through
CAT.NO: YT6080

Be careful that the one you buy is straight through, there are crossover versions.

Thanks Alan but yeah they are RJ11.

I did find a longer cable with RJ9 plugs on ebay, so hopefully it will do the job.

Thanks, Kev
