NGC3372 again

This time there are 3 pics all taken last night, the unmodded one had the Moon up for the last 2 frames.
Taken with my usual setup; 1100d & 1100d modded, 200mm reflector, neq6 pro, 800iso 60sec exposure, no calibration frames at all. (hadn't time)
No1 is unmodded, No2 modded and the third a combination of the two others.

It is odd that your unmodded image is almost entirely blue; my
unmodded 1100d shows quite a lot of red in 3372. You must process
the image very differently from me.

For comparison with yours Simon. First image is 70 secs @ ISO 800,
showing plenty of hints of red. It is straight out of the camera.
Second image stack of 30 x 70 secs @ 800.
RGB channels balanced in DSS, and a little bit of contrast and
sharpening.

It seems that my unmodded camera's very blue, will have a look at it, think I'll have a fiddle with the white balance.

I leave the camera white balance in auto mode and fix it (more or less, see my recent threads on the subject!) in post processing.

The modded camera looks the same hue as what I see with mine now it's been modded. Everything looks read, so I use more or less the same technique in post processing to bring the red green and blue channels more into line.
