The Small and Unusual

A sample of the unusual fungi and moulds I have come across this past fortnight raking around in the leaf mulch on the forest floor.
Hope you enjoy the sights.

Nice to get out and about when the forest is damp and fungi are about. I've seen fungi like the first couple at the shack, I noticed they glowed in the dark.

So I have been told Phil, but unless they are in an easy to find spot, or short of marking the trail, it is sometimes hard to find them again after dark. Although there are a few bioluminescents around and I am planning on doing some non destructive marking :-)

More cracking shots...
Thanks. I'm hoping the new macro lens when it arrives, will greatly improve my reach into this small world.
