Rosette Neb Ha and Ha SII OIII
Hi All
These are Ha 45min SII 1.5hr OIII 1.5 hr exposures
Mapped as Red - SII; Green - Ha; Blue - OIII
Processed with Fits Liberator, CCDSoft and photoshop
Growing realisation that Narrowband Imaging needs seriously long exposure times.
Also noticed Field Rotation developing in lower right of image
However, does not necessarily need dark skies for success
Thanks for looking

Nice colors given the short integration time. What scope did you use?

Hi Marc
Thanks for you comment.
Scope is a Tak Fs102 @ f6.
Fair amount of stretching in photoshop to retrieve detail from the subs!
Cheers
Robert

Yes, you'll notice a difference. You'll be getting hammered with read noise on short subs.
