Another very fine image from Pujic labs! I copied the image into Corel Photo Paint and zoomed in on a small segment of the fine inner rille, and it appears to be at least 3 or 4 pixels wide. Incredible.
ving, usually it's a fine line between increasing the midtones to make the image brighter (which causes some areas like peaks and crater walls to burn out), and keeper a darker image which shows detail in bright areas, but lacks zing.
paul, I took the image on Sep 2 (saturday before the Smart-1 impact). It was a relatively unwindy night in Brisbane but sunday night was horrible. The moon was violently dancing around the frame. And yes, I am rather desperately waiting for a night of good seeing. I have taken very few images that show as much detail as the ToUcam since I was able to use the webcam in summer nights. Nevetheless, the SkyNyx is vastly superior since it has much lower noise, smaller pixels and a larger chip.
