NGC 2736 again with more data

Here's NGC 2736 again with about 31 hours of data of varying quality. I think I've reached the point of diminishing returns and it's time to move onto something else. Someone with better processing skills than I may have made a better job of it than this.

Cheers

Steve

The mix of NB and RGB is very well done, very attractive. To get this balance is no trivial task, ive tried. A pleasure to view Steve.

Very nice Steve. You got quite good detail in the willowy areas. A couple of red noise spots in the background could be healing brushed out.

Greg.

Thanks Greg. Point taken about the noise. Actually the result is surprisingly noisy when you consider the amount of data.

Absolutely superb, Steve. Done with finesse. The combined RGB and narrowband data has produced a better result than my effort.

You can clip the dark point by around R 5500 G 3600 B 3100 without losing anything, and you end up with a neutral background. Makes it look a bit more contrasty.

Best,
Mike

Wow - I don't think it's that good Mike but thanks very much. I played around with the black and white points a bit and now think it's probably a bit too dark but it's certainly more contrasty. Basically I wanted to preserve the faint background nebulosity as much as possible without making it appear too flat.
