Hi all,
finally, i couldn't believe it - a clear night with no moon or gale forced winds or crazy hot temperatures!
took delivery of a new astronomik ccd cls (and also a Ha 7nm woohoo), prior to that my subs were limited to 70 seconds before skyglow clouded it up too much.
attempted 180 secs here. would appreciate if someone could comment on whether that looks to be too many seconds in the single sub.
found it fairly hard to colour balance but i was tired while processing this.
i've also recently moved to a RCCI (with filter draw) so got a lot of new things i'm trying to sort out (stars bottom left for eg).
also is it just me or is gabriela mistral really a cyberman? or perhaps alien space monster when viewed side on?

i swear that is all i see now when looking at this...
about an hour's worth of data.
