5d mk2 vs 6d darks

So, I received my 6d today. I thought i would compare 30sec darks at iso6400, they are bellow. Opened in Adobe camera raw, identical curved adjustment to both and saved as jpg. If someone is interested, I can provide a link to full res TIFF images.

I can't open those (my computer problem not yours). But the latest generation of cameras from Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fuji all have spectacular high ISO performances. Sony A7s is the king then Nikon DF and D4 then probably Canon 1DX, then 6D, 5D3. My Sony A7r is 36mp and is spectacular at ISO6400. So is my APSc Fuji XT1. An A7s would be nice, then ISO25,600 - 52,000 would be the norm for nightscapes with little liability. Theoretically you could go 10 seconds at F2.8 and get tighter stars and get the same brightness as ISO6400 and 30 seconds with slightly trailed stars even at 14mm.

Greg.
