ghost of jupiter NGC 3242

have never seen this one before but point to a piece of sky with no stars in it and you get the Ghost of Jupiter... eeerie looks like the eye of sauron. Ive blown this one way up to see it properly.

Very nice Ben. I should like to have a crack at this one too if the clouds ever retreat. You've done very well for just a single short frame.

To be honest i thought ... Cool a blue dot. then i thought lets blow it up and have a look and thats it.. im so glad i didnt google what it was before i did this.. as the suprise was worth it
