February Photo Challenge - Entries (Post them here).

The topic this month is: "Three of something."

This thread is only for posting your entry and any comments you'd like to make about your own photo.
If you would like to comment on other entries please use the comments thread.
As usual, one entry per person and the image must be your own work.
Normal forum rules and image size applies.

The image doesn't necessarily have to have been taken this month but we do encourage you to go out and enjoy the challenge.
The winner of the poll, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their
photo posted in our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame" thread.

Good luck and good shooting.

Three - A Selfy Portrait

I call it "Three - A Selfy Portrait", enjoy. I'll be very disappointed if this doesn't come last.

"3 Particles of Dark Matter"
This was taken outside the Australian Synchrotron. I discovered that using a 4 second exposure (ISO 100), and manually changing the focal length from 24mm to 105mm during the 4 seconds (at precisely 20.25mm per second) captured exactly 3 particles of dark matter in the image.
The particles are very difficult to see, even in the original raw image.

3 in a row!

Three dew drops on my back lawn early this morning. Shot with my Tamron 90mm macro.

Cheers,
Stephen
