Blue-ringed Octopus

These fellas are a rare visitor down our way. My nephew found this fella in a shell only 50 mtrs from shore at our main swimming beach. I took a quick snap with my P&S..
PS..Forgot to mention , this fella was only about 2 inches long.

Poisonous little critters, the blue rings here are quite bright, hence, it is alarmed and prepared to defend itself . . .
They dont get much bigger than this, mayber another inch at most !
