Released from Hospital - Again!!

If only they gave frequent flyer points.
This time, I tripped over our cat and landed knee/elbow first on the pavers.
If they ever make a program in the vein of "World's most incredibly foul language aimed at a pet" I'm in front by miles.

OTOH, I got to spend the weekend and yesterday in a rather pleasant opiate-induced fog, didn't have to do the dishes, and even got me a loan of one of those electric scooters. I've wanted one for 30 years but could never really justify the cash.
These are more fun than is decent for a person to have, and because they are designed with morbidly obese Americans in mind, are perfect for lugging one's gear around and "Jousting" with other, equally infantile patients.
Alas they want it back at the end of the month.

LOL you could now chase the cat with the jousting pole. hope you get better soon, but a happy snap of you in the "chair" may suffice with said pole and cat ?

... If he catches the cat ... it may need a ' wheelchair ' by the time he's finished with it.

Speedy recovery Peter...

Re: Cold dead fingers. LOL

I know what you mean. I used to drag around on a wheelchair while recovering from a tonsillectomy. In my army days. They did not have motorized ones those days.

Get well soon.

Well being a cat person I'll leave the pussy jokes alone.

That said, my late father bought one of those electric "scooter" thangs "just in case"..........he only used it a few times, I think more for the fun of it before he died, but he once said that it must have been akin to what submariners experienced as they silently stalked their prey, sneaking up on the unwary...................think, Run Silent, Run Deep.

So, what colour is the cat??

If you like the scooter you'd love life in a nursing home. Sit back and REALLY relax

Get well.

Thanks everyone.
Its just a pity that there seems to be an aversion to eating cat.

My mother in law came by yesterday with some 'chicken soup'(Absolut brand) now I have this incredible headache & nausea. Can't seem to focus and get the spins every 5 minutes. Also affects my scooter control.
Must be a virus.

first two are great ,, but to get the third ,,you are truely in debt big time to the cat .. the precedent is now you should get to keep the scooter
for your ongoing health ,, the cat whos tail may or may not ever find its way under a said wheel of the scooter is Kool .
