Layer Masking M42

Hi all,

Had a go at layer masking with some old M42 data.

Approx. 20 minutes of data (60x30s @ ISO1600 plus 3x5s @ISO1600 for the core)

I'm pretty happy with the result. But if it passes the test of the more experienced eyes on IIS I'll be really happy

As always, the feedback I receive from you guys helps so much.

Cheers,
Bret

Very well done. You can see right down to the trap.

Very nice. I like that you've keep a lot of brightness in the Trap region - a lot of people either burn it out or make it too dim to show stars.
