Can anyone identify this tripod

Hi All,

I am interested in knowing a little more about these tripod legs. I believe they are genuine Vixen legs, but they look nothing like the modern Ash Wooden Vixen legs.

Where did they come from?

Are they any good?

Are they hard wood?

any info on them would be usefull.
