Mount Kosciuszko shadow on belt of Venus

This is the shadow of mount Kosciuszko on the belt of Venus on Australia day. Looking West at sunrise on Monday the 26th. The other shot is the sunrise looking East.

The first is really spectacular. The exposure is perfect. Lovely.

Wow Marc, beautiful images. I was just up there on the 2nd of Jan when I completed the Main Range walk. Must do a sunrise walk one year because these look fantastic. Thanks for sharing

Thanks. It was quite dark so I used Lightroom to level the brightness and colors.

Nice one. I did the climb the day before and slept up there. Some people made the night walk from 3:00am onwards but I wouldn't be game to walk in the dark.

Thanks mate. Yeah it was an enjoyable day. Plenty of other shots but those are the ones you go up for.
