ST7 Vs EQ8 ??

Ok its 2am local.
Any reason why my ST7 will not guide the EQ8
Everything works perfectly with the G11.
Relays seem to be working, CCDops will attempt to calibrate as it did with the G11.
Nothing while going through AA5.
I have used AA5 to autoguide the G11 with the ST7, but nothing with the EQ8.

Any reasonable response will be looked into.
Any suggested previous info thread will be read.
Any suggestion would be welcomed.

Does it need a reversed guide cable?
When I had an EQ6 the cable was reversed compared to my tak mount.

Thanks Terry,
As soon as I read the word "reversed", I remembered making them to use with the GPUSB and Losmandy.
A good demonstration of how the mind looses clarity when tired and frustrated late at night.
If the weather stays away I'll try that tonight.
