Stella Maris

Was wandering the rocks along the seashore photographing the lichens when I found this seastar.
It was at the extreme end of the high-tide level in a rock pool only 20cm deep and less than a sq metre round, with no where to hide from the sun, or me.
It just looked too dangerous to pick up and I had nothing suitable on me.
i did point it out to some fishermen but don't think they cared much.
I haven't been able to ID it except that there is an 11 legged seastar that looks similar this being 10).
