Running Chicken Nebula (IC 2944)

Hi all,
Here's my narrowband Hubble palette version of Running Chicken Nebula (IC2944). It's the last image though my trusty GSO RC 6" as I've recently purchased the carbon tube 8" version smile

Captured with Sequence Generator Pro, calibration in Maxim, and most post processing in Nebulosity 3. Will probably grab some rgb data for the stars and add those in - when I figure out how to do it!
Ha 9 x 900s. O3 & S2 8 x 900s each.
Gso RC6", Atik 383l mono riding Az EQ 6.

Cheers, Kevin. I've been working on a revised version which does away with those horrible stars. Hopefully finish it today

Some imagers replace them with RGB stars. It's a lot of extra work though.

Well done, Chris. You can always desaturate the star halos to make them less prominent.

Cheers, Kevin. Yes once I get a few things sorted I'll be working more on whole image sequencing. Flips, plate solves, autofocusing etc. Then hopefully I can get a full data set of narrowband and rgb to cover all my options :-)

Cheers, Rick. Your work has been quite an inspiration! A friend tells me PixInsight matches stars? I'm sure it'll help with my blue, which I think was a bit out of focus.

Thanks, Chris. PI has some useful tools for reducing star sizes which can be useful for dealing with star bloat, in one colour channel or all of them.
