Features:

Select from among 42,900 celestial objects to explore using the intuitive menus on the computerized SynScan hand controller.
Internal DC stepper motors offer nine slew rates ranging from 2x to 800x sidereal and three tracking rates: sidereal, lunar, and solar
Features a convenient CCD autoguider jack ; weighs 25kg without counterweights attached

Specially designed to support large telescope tubes this high-precision equatorial mount features engraved aluminum setting circles and a latitude scale, built-in polarscope with Southern Hemisphere reticle and bubble level for quick set up.

The field tripod is remarkably stable with adjustable height, incorporating 2"-diameter stainless tripod legs. The NEQ6 will carry up to 20 kg and is excellent for visual observations and imaging with most telescopes.

Astrophotographers love the Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro Computerized GoTo Telescope Mount due to its precise tracking performance, affordable price, and robust load capacity.
Since most astrophotography setups consist of multiple heavy pieces of equipment, an astrophotography mount must be capable of supporting hefty loads while also providing smooth, accurate tracking.
Backlash compensation and programmable PEC provide the responsiveness for guiding and the tracking accuracy needed for astrophotography. There's also a jack for a CCD autoguider built right into the NEQ6 Pro, so it's easy to add guided accuracy to all of your astrophotos.

Short unguided imaging is possible out of the box. Longer, deep exposure are made possible through the use of an autoguider using ST4 type commands or software autoguiding through many inexpensive CCD cameras.
