The Horsehead Nebula

My first attempt at this amazing region. Keen to collect more data when the clouds part. Almost everything came together for this shot. Autoguiding was the best I have had it with the new setup and the nights were pretty nice and clear. I couldn't tame the flare from a nearby bright star though.

I had an issue from some weird noise/artifacts from the first night. I think they are from the power cables wrapped around the camera with some elastic (to take any pressure of the connections).

Thoughts/constructive criticism welcome.

That's beautiful Aaron though IMO you've posted it in the Beginners section by mistake!

Whoa Aaron that's deep!I agree with Dunk - why are you playing in the sandpit with us when you are producing results like that?
Great stuff - keep up the good work.
Bruce.

Thanks guys. I was surprised, in a good way, with the result. A bit noisy still, but now I know that the subs can be affected by the camera power cable, I'll try and be more careful in the future.

Forgot to mention the camera was cooled to -20.

I'm too scared to leave the sandpit Still so much more to learn.

Cheers,
Aaron
