Some really nice detail there Simon! I'm guessing that's with the Sony A7s? What exposure ISO etc did you use?

Astro modified cameras can produce a slight colour shift with comets. It can usually be managed with software or even a little filtering.

Thanks, yes all my future pics will be with the A7s, love it.

I'm totally ignorant as to the 'correct' colour for comets, though I did check some of the examples here and thought I had it right. Oh well, it's probably my ancient monitor

ooh I did not see it was the A7, should be able to get a really good high iso wide field?

as to color, if the stars look right then the comet takes care of its self.
