MERRY XMAS ONE AND ALL!
First task of the day was removing a poisonous white tailed spider from the stairs. Nicknamed "Elvis" it was jarred and released along the side fence where it could argue with the equally poisonous red backs that reside there.
I triumphantly announced that "Elvis had left the building..."
Week jokes are acceptable on Xmas Day!
Second task involved some serious maths.
"40 mins. for every 500g so how long for 2.2 kilos?" she asked.
My reply was immediate.
"Allow 3 hours, unless of course it is being cooked on a starship travelling away from us at 0.9 times the speed of light in which case it will take about 76 years of our time!"
I ducked just in time to avoid the dish cloth...that thing was really moving.
Third task "the dishes." God how I love cleaning up recyclables.
Now let's sum this up. Three kings bearing a single gift each = Three tasks.
Yep, I'm all done.
Now let's have some fun with the grandchildren when they arrive. I mean I must try out those new scooters.
Meanwhile in Melbourne grandsons are assembling their gifts from me.
