I'm still working on this dataset, but here's some cool structure in the tail

Very good image Andrew.
Nice details, but to me your sky looks a little too dark.
There may be a bit more detail too see.
Do you have any other images about an hour later??
the tail structure should have move along by then.

Thanks Alan - on my uncalibrated monitors at work I can see what you mean, but at home on my calibrated ones, and on my various retina displays it's right on the limit of showing the background noise. Also - depends on whether you're looking at a highly compressed jpeg or not.
I have a complete set of subs taken 2 hours earlier - it hadn't occurred to me to compare the detail in the tail, but I shall do so - thanks again!
