Ngc 1978 & ngc 2003

GSO 305 mm - Canon T3 - 11 x 3 min (33 min) - ISO 800 - OAG - Skyglow filter - Coma corrector

note: many objects aren't studied and named

We waste time naming small stones as moon. We don't expend time to name objects, clusters and nebulas, of Large Magellanic Cloud Galaxy !

nice work Jorge, you've been busy - nice to hear someone has some clear skies!

I especially like the ngc 1978 crop.

cheers

Russ, this globular cluster seems to be an evidence of recent activities of stars formation in both Magellanic clouds galaxies. The interaction with Milk Way wake up them.

LMC and SM were with low activities since theirs formation. Theirs presence near us isn't well known.

They are large galaxies near us. We must study more them.
