Celestron Nexstar+ ASPA in Southern Hemisphere
Just a heads-up that the formerly beta test status Celestron Nexstar+ Hand Control firmware version that gives a working ASPA polar alignment routine in the Southern Hemisphere has now been taken to public release and is available, along with a new version of the CFM firmware installer software, in the normal way from the Celestron website.
I and a number of others have been testing it over recent weeks and it seems to work well now both on Eq mounts and AltAz mounts with wedges.
