I've Nexus device for about a year. A bit different to the one you linked but, it is a fantastic device. You will love it. You just need to do a 2 object alignment. I mean ANY object. I used the comet Lovejoy as an alignment object actually last weekend. You can just meander around the sky looking at things. Finder scopes are pointless over a red dot sight as once alignment is done you wont need them again.
Just look down at your tablet or phone and aim that way. The locking feature of the target reticule and the motions of your scope is particularly good when using sky safari.
Everyone who see's how the system works is thoroughly impressed, because you don't need to know object names to find things. You just point your scope at a particular section of the sky and discover new objects every single session under a dark sky. It's one of the main reasons why I have not upgraded my 12" to a larger scope. Every session I find something new to look at and it gives me the feeling that I don't need a larger scope to see new things because now I can find them with ease. Finding little known planetary nebular and globular clusters is particularly exciting stuff. I always get a kick out of a bright spiral galaxy I've never seen before as we'll. You know, those Mag 9-11 galaxies that are rarely imaged or even mentioned by people.
Can't say enough good things about it, top quality product. On a side note. Don't you guys have the sky commander system?
