Lagoon with 6" newt

Hi All.
Just about finished a 6" newt for imaging. I roughly collimated and took a stack of shots thursday night unguided of the lagoon neb as without finderscope was a bit of hit and miss finding anything..
Picture is stack of 13 at 1600iso and 60 sec. (Best out of about a 100 shots)Theres some coma creeping in but very happy with first image with it.
Have to save for that coma corrector!! Thinking of getting the baader coma corrector..

Looks great Gary - did you make the 6" or modify one to focus with the DSLR??

Thanks Houghy, Yeah Lee made it from scratch, mirrors as well. Made everything including rings except the focuser and got welding and bending done at the local engineers..fun project but rather time comsuming..totally designed imaging with 100% illumination across about 25mm which would cover most DSLR sensors...
Cheers Gary

Great work mate - the pic says it all really - I plan on modifying a Newt to focus with my D70, after I sort out imaging with the D70 widefield and then the ED80 that is!
Don't know if I could bring myself to cut the bottom off my current 8" though!
