Adding to NGC2070

Didn't look to get that much more from adding another 1 hour and 20 minutes for total 2 hours

Looks good Peter.

There are diminishing returns when going long. Basically the only difference between 1 hour and 2 hours is the 2 hour version will have half the noise. Though this means the faint stuff can be stretched or have lower noise instead.

The "mega data" images some guys put up don't necessarily show that much more but the images have a "creamy" appearance because the noise has been clubbed into blackness by the massive volume of signal they've recorded. I love the look but it's hard to achieve.

I think the extra is well worth it, looks cleaner, deeper and more detailed to me.
I started this area a month ago with the ed80, I haven't had time or clear sky to add to it yet. I wasn't sure I wanted to put more time into it.
Seeing now what you've gained, I'll certainly make it first up on the list next session.

Thanks guys. I'll return to it given opportunity. Noise has dropped off some. The colour is enticing for such a large area
