Error message Sharpcap

Hi All
Having a problem opening SharpCap. When i open it i get the error message

FTD2XX.dll missing.

It recommends reinstalling the program which i have done but the error message still appears.

Could someone please help me to correct this, i have no idea.

Sometimes I get missing dll files error messages when I install a program from a zip file (without extracting it, just double-clicking on the setup exe file within it). Have you installed it from a normal folder or exe file or a zip or rar file or any other compressed file?

Extract the content of the zip file to a normal folder and try to run the setup from there.
