Non newt DIY

Has anyone ever tried doing an ATM RC?
or CDK/ODK/MDK?
All I ever see are newtonians and the occasional refractor.

Here's a DIY CDK but i wouldn't call it the average DIY. This one is amazing! and check out the mount he has made also.

I would love to make a planetary imaging scope using one of Royce's dall-kirkham mirror sets. They wouldn't be good for deep sky imaging at f18 though.

That is one impressive looking scope. And looking at the time it took I can see why homebuilds are few and far between.
