I have a Hercus metal turning lathe for sale. 6 inch swing, about 20 inches between centres. I only used it a couple of times after I bought it nearly 2 years ago. Has been partly dismantled for transport, and is in storage. I.e. cross slide, tool post, motor and tailstock off to make it lighter to move. It is a good little machine for hobbyists. Has some accessories, tooling, and set of back gears. It is mounted on a sturdy bench. Needs a new drive belt.
It needs to go because I don't have room for it at my new house. It is in storage in the Adelaide Hills. Sorry, I don't have a photo at the moment.
Looking for 675 bucks ono.
Thanks for looking.

Reason: Added information
According to what I described to my brother, who works for Her us, its a 9". They did make wood lathes as well, under the Durden brand name. F W Hercus and Durden merged some time ago. They no longer make any lathes, but they still refurbish their old machines.
I can't get a photo until the weekend. Will post one then.
Brian, I will pm you.
Roger, I also have you planted in my memory banks.
