Heart Nebula (Sh2-190/IC1805) in narrowband

The Heart Nebula is an emission nebula in the northern constellation of Cassiopeia. This is a narrowband image taken from a scope I share at SRO in California. The second image is the core of the Heart, an open cluster called Melotte 15.

The gear used was a Tak FSQ-106ED on a Paramount ME with a QSI683 camera. Subs were 12x1800s Ha, 17x1800s OIII, 20x1800s SII and a smattering of RGB.

Processed in PixInsight, of course. I used drizzle integration and was very happy with the result. It was upsampled from a native resolution of just over 2 arcsec/pixel to around 1 arcsec/pixel.

High res here: http://www.astrobin.com/122474/ and here: http://www.astrobin.com/122475/

Hope you like it. Constructive criticism is always welcome...

Cheers,
Rick.

That's just excellent Rick! I think your choice of colours was perfect. So which northern site are you using?

Cheers

Very nicely done. These small pixel cameras do wonders with the FSQ.

Stunning capture and processing. Don't suppose you could move that thing about 40 degrees south on the sky?
