Actually no it wouldnt need any more cooling than the last generation of high end graphics card. The GTX 980 has just been released and most are around the $800 mark. This is actually faster than the number crunching beast the GTX Titan which is still over $1200 mostly. So Nvidia competing against its own line is strange but then again, the Titan is for number crunching and the 980 is for gaming.
Very interesting. It's hard to credit how easily people accept conspiracy theories and other rubbish. The quote by Einstein in Andrew's signature is particularly relevant here.
