Regrettable sale, Since I have upgraded to a celeston c9.25 which was my dream scope forever, I have to let this beauty go.
The optics are brilliant and I've enjoyed looking at the stars and planets. I originally bought this to do astrophotography but my photo foo is rubbish so I'm sticking to planetary pics hence the upgrade.
There is negligible, and I mean negligible CA, stars are pinpoint sharp.
There is no viewfinder as I am using it as a guidescope and I am also keeping the 2 inch mirror diagonal, (they are a dime a dozen at Bintel) You do get the Dovetail, a 1.25 mirror diagonal however, and the world's sturdiest Case
the Badinov mask is broken and if you want to glue it together go right ahead.
How Much??
Well these retailed new for $1200.
I am letting it go for $890 Pickup or else postage will be charged.
