From the Earth To The Moon - DVDs

Don't know how many of you remember the Tom Hanks HBO award-winning Mini-Series ...

but the Signature Edition DVD boxed set is now available.

I picked mine up this afternoon from EzyDvD.

It's a very nicely presented 5-disc set containing almost 700 minutes of material including every episode in the series and extras (trailers etc).

Total cost around $90.

I only caught about 4 episodes when it screened of a Saturday morning on TV but made a mental note to myself to buy the series if it ever became available.

Another great addition to the home resource library

Hi All

Watched and taped the whole series on cable some years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Especial the episodes on the construction of the LM and Apollo 12. Be waiting longingly for it to come out on DVD ever since. Problem is now that it is on my wife’s birthday/Xmas wish list for me, so I will have to wait till Christmas for my copy. The good news is that I am looking forward to Dad’s Days as I am getting Season 2 of Battlestar Galactica, cool.

Anthony

I've been waiting for this for yonks!!! Can't wait - I made a copy of it on video a few years ago and watched it so many times the tapes are stretched. Definitely will get the DVD.

Arguably one of the best reproductions on the Mercury/Gemini and Apollo space flights.

I wonder if the 'Right Stuff' is on DVD ?

I've just finished the book from whence the series came - " A Man on the Moon" by Andrew Chaikin. A fabulous read - by far the most comprehensive account of the Apollo series to date. Highly recommended if you love the HBO series.
