Reynisdrangar at Sunset - 2/14

Been a while since I've posted in here. But, anyway...

The Reynisdrangar at sunset.

One of several stunning sunsets I witnessed at Vík í Mýrdal, the southernmost village in Iceland.

Canon EOS-5D Mark III, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
1s f/16.0 at 17.0mm iso100

Slightly larger version available here.

Comments, critique, etc., most welcome.

That is brilliant. I love the contrasts between the light and the dark mesmerising.

Greg.

Really lovely, H! I've been on the western side of that spot a couple of times and it's a fascinating area. Would have loved to be there at dusk or dawn but the drive was a bit hairy in our rental Corolla and I think my wife would have mutinied if I'd tried it

Thanks, a bunch, gents.

Rick, yes, I was on the other side, too. Not very photogenic skies, sadly, but, I got a few images, nonetheless. I'll get around to processing them as time allows.

This image had nothing done to it except for 2 ticks of contrast and one tick of shadow in Digital Photo Professional. Then, sent to Photoshop to resize for the web.
